F-1 SMART: Scalable Multiple Application Response Technology

Intelagard’s F-1 Scalable Multiple Application Response Technology (SMART) includes an array of rugged and reliable best-of-breed hardware in a manageably sized, easy to operate, modular system that can be quickly tailored to any platform or decontamination operation. The F-1 SMART requires minimal maintenance while maximizing performance-to-weight ratio by its ability to expand resources. The F-1 SMART is an evolution of the Falcon FSDS truck / trailer system developed in 2003. SMART incorporates the functionality of the FSDS into a single modular unit that includes the engine, air compressor and pump system that allows for FSDS performance, with the added ability to either draw from bulk storage to fill on-board tanks or deploy directly from bulk storage containers, portable water supplies, and more, for fully modular operation.

Intelagard’s evolved core technologies enabled the ‘miniaturization’ of components to provide FSDS/large-scale capability with a much smaller, easier to use and maintain system that will serve as a common unit for multiple mission’s – reducing logistical impacts while providing the lowest total cost of ownership. The F-1 SMART is a highly versatile system well suited to independent operation, or it may be fully integrated into a system as the power/pumping module. The F-1 SMART is capable of supporting decontamination, HAZMAT response AND fire emergencies, transported by the platform of your choice.

The F-1 SMART dispenses fire fighting and decontamination foams, water, hot soapy water, HtH, and more. The module also drafts fluids from external supplies with zero-prime drafting up to 100 feet away from tanks, blivets or natural sources with a vertical draft of up to 20 feet. Use a single 1.5’ discharge line or two dual discharge lines through two 1” lines simultaneously.

The F-1 SMART fits into current operational doctrine in the same role as M17/M12A1. The F-1 SMART is a low-pressure/high-volume system that easily cuts through mud. It may be diesel or gasoline engine powered, and like all Intelagard products, a simple dial adjustment provides unparalleled resource-to-foam expansion ratios not before seen.
